Mainframe DevOps Migration Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and facilitate migration initiatives from CA Endevor and various source-code management systems to IBM DBB, Git, IDz, and IBM DevOps Deploy / IDD.

• Evaluate, convert, and verify current Endevor-based applications and development processes.

• Set up, configure, and resolve issues with IBM DevOps migration tools in client environments.

• Assist with the transition activities related to build, branching, repository, and pipeline in IBM Z DevOps.

• Create and present customer training sessions and technical presentations concerning DevOps migration and IBM tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive z/OS / IBM Z mainframe experience with application development, system programming, or software change management.

• Direct migration experience from Non-IBM / ISV DevOps or SCM tools—particularly CA Endevor—to IBM DBB, Git, IDz, and IBM DevOps Deploy / IDD.

• Hands-on experience in analyzing, converting, verifying, and troubleshooting the migration of application build and change-management processes.

• Solid working knowledge of TSO/ISPF, JCL, USS, and REXX.

• Familiarity with Git, repositories, branching, YAML, Groovy scripting, and pipeline/build debugging.

• Excellent problem-determination capabilities and the proficiency to assist customers with migration-related challenges.
