AI DevOps, Reliability Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance deployment automation processes.

• Establish standards and practices for releases.

• Deepen automation integration within production pathways.

• Facilitate verification through automated solutions.

• Maintain CI/CD standards across various teams.

• Develop pipeline tools for secure engineering workflows.

• Create and expand environments that replicate production settings.

• Integrate AI tools into operational processes.

• Advocate for Infrastructure as Code in provisioning.

• Operate and optimize high-volume data infrastructures.

• Collaborate daily with a designated engineering team.

• Implement DORA metrics and leverage them for continuous improvements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in integrating AI into DevOps and SRE methodologies (Claude Code, Cursor, agents, or comparable tools).

• Over 7 years of experience in DevOps, platform management, infrastructure, or similar engineering roles.

• Strong practical knowledge of Kubernetes and AWS.

• Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.

• Demonstrated expertise in CI/CD architecture, including pipelines, quality gates, and release automation.

• Experience with GitOps methodologies utilizing Argo CD (or Flux) for Kubernetes deployment.

• Hands-on experience managing streaming infrastructure (Kafka) in a production environment.

• Experience with high-volume SQL and NoSQL datastore management.

• Strong scripting and automation capabilities (Python, Bash, or similar languages).

• Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and PagerDuty.

• Understanding of on-call procedures, incident response, SLI/SLO definitions, and runbooks.
