Machine Learning Team Leader

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Ensure that the contractor team provides high-quality ML Scoring solutions (such as click and conversion predictions) for Sponsored Offers in a timely manner, holding responsibility for the team's technical output and project milestones.

• Oversee the training parameters for deep learning models, including the definition of feature space and adherence to model lifecycle standards.

• Facilitate the transfer of scoring responsibilities from existing teams in collaboration with backend and product stakeholders.

• Offer expert guidance on future roadmaps for the ML aspects of Sponsored Offers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in Machine Learning or Data Science positions within production environments.

• More than 2 years of direct experience in people management.

• A proven history of leading comprehensive model training initiatives for business applications.

• Strong practical knowledge of the entire model lifecycle: data preparation, feature engineering, training, evaluation, calibration, and controlled deployment.

• Hands-on expertise in Python and SQL, along with a solid understanding of ML/deep learning frameworks (such as PyTorch or TensorFlow) and scalable data processing workflows.

• Experience managing ML workloads in cloud environments, preferably GCP (Vertex AI, BigQuery, Cloud Storage).

• Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional execution across ML, serving, and product domains, ensuring strategic alignment and performance visibility for Director-level stakeholders.

• Strong decision-making skills based on business impact metrics (revenue, GMV, conversion) and experimentation outcomes.

• Minimum English proficiency at level B2.
