Machine Learning Intern/Co-op

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Create, train, and enhance state-of-the-art models.

• Assist in the development of innovative techniques to train and deploy models more securely, efficiently, and swiftly.

• Train exceptionally large-scale models utilizing extensive datasets.

• Investigate continual and active learning approaches for streaming data.

• Gain insights from seasoned senior machine learning professionals.

• Collaborate closely with product teams to devise effective solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python and related machine learning frameworks such as Tensorflow, TF-Serving, JAX, and XLA/MLIR.

• Experience with large-scale distributed training methodologies.

• Understanding of autoregressive sequence models, including Transformers.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

• A proven enthusiasm for applied NLP models and products.

• Bonus: experience in writing kernels for GPUs using CUDA.

• Bonus: familiarity with training on TPUs.

• Bonus: publications in top-tier venues (such as NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, AIStats, MLSys, JMLR, AAAI, Nature, COLING, ACL, EMNLP).
