This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee intricate data science and analytics initiatives aimed at enhancing processes, reducing defects, and implementing predictive analytics for manufacturing and business contexts.
• Exhibit strong project management capabilities, acting as the project lead to mentor and guide less experienced team members through various aspects of project execution.
• Independently create data science models or algorithms by adhering to disciplined software development methodologies, providing recommendations for new code development or the reuse of existing code, implementing version control, and ensuring thorough documentation of developed applications.
• Define and execute the ingestion, preparation, curation, and governance of extensive, multifaceted data sets that support analytics models and workflows.
• Proactively evaluate current capabilities to pinpoint improvement opportunities and propose solutions aligned with core strategies and operations.
• Lead and generate information products that enhance visualization and data accessibility in a customer-focused approach.
• Assess and recommend technological advancements that boost productivity and quality, minimize flow times, and strengthen operational reliability.
• Establish guidelines and standards for analytics and machine learning models, their deployment, and the associated processes.
• Provide technical guidance, business process expertise, and leadership, along with coaching and mentoring to team members.
• Expected to communicate effectively and collaborate within the team while engaging with the team’s connections to the broader organization.
• Collaborate with other teams and design software components for the team’s products.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, along with competencies and technical skills typically gained through 6+ years of experience; or
• Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, complemented by competencies and technical skills generally acquired through 3+ years of experience.
