This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Act as a subject matter authority in Machine Learning and its applications within Cyber Defense, focusing on researching and implementing innovative ML-driven solutions to challenges faced by Security Operations Centers (SOCs).
• Create proactive solutions for Cyber Incident Response.
• Tackle intricate security and architectural issues with creativity and accuracy, emphasizing real-time performance and scalability.
• Identify and propose enhancements to architectures, particularly in secure environments.
• U.S. Citizenship (mandatory for federal projects)
• Over 3 years of experience in Machine Learning
• More than 3 years of experience in Cybersecurity, with a preference for purple team experience
• Strong MLOps capabilities and an understanding of the risks, such as semantic drift, in security-focused systems.
• Experience in developing pipelines that support an SOC, ideally for active systems like anomaly detection or IDS, rather than merely static or periodically updated dashboards.
• Proficient with major cloud services, including AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities
• Capacity to work autonomously with distributed teams in a dynamic, agile setting
