This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Act as a subject matter expert in Machine Learning and its applications within Cyber Defense, conducting research and implementing unique ML-based solutions to address challenges faced by Security Operations Centers (SOCs).
• Create proactive solutions for Cyber Incident Response.
• Tackle intricate security and architecture issues with creativity and accuracy, emphasizing real-time performance and scalability.
• Recognize and suggest enhancements to architectures, particularly in secure environments.
• U.S. Citizenship (mandatory for federal projects).
• Over 3 years of experience in Machine Learning.
• More than 3 years of experience in Cybersecurity (purple team experience preferred).
• Strong MLOps capabilities and a solid understanding of risks such as semantic drift in security-focused systems.
• Proven experience in developing pipelines that support an SOC, preferably within an active system like anomaly detection or IDS rather than just a static or periodically updated dashboard.
• Proficiency with leading cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Capability to work independently with distributed teams in a dynamic, agile setting.
