Machine Learning Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Develop foundational machine learning systems that support a proactive, long-term AI product.

• Take responsibility for the entire lifecycle: data preparation, training, evaluation, inference, and iteration.

• Transform research concepts into dependable production systems.

• Troubleshoot model failures and system challenges utilizing real production data.

• Deliver quickly, assess outcomes, refine processes, and iterate.

• Work in close collaboration with research, product, and engineering teams.

• Provide mentorship and review the work of fellow ML engineers.

• Operate within real-world production limitations: latency, cost, reliability, and safety.

• Proven experience in developing and deploying ML systems utilized by actual users.

• Solid comprehension of how contemporary ML models function — and can malfunction — in a production setting.

• Capability to write high-quality production code and adopt a systems-oriented mindset rather than a script-focused one.

• Demonstrated independence in taking ownership of projects and driving them to completion.

• Quick learner, effective communicator, and possesses an iterative approach to work.
