• Develop systems that proactively identify and mitigate security threats before they impact infrastructure.
• Design, train, and implement machine learning models directly at the edge.
• Connect security intelligence with large-scale data science initiatives.
• Work alongside red team members and security engineers to transform attack data into forward-thinking defense strategies.
• Create edge intelligence. Design and train machine learning models aimed at anomaly detection, bot mitigation, and zero-day intrusion detection.
• Scale deployment. Implement and enhance inference models to operate efficiently at the edge, managing substantial volumes of HTTP traffic with minimal latency.
• Convert attacks into actionable data. Collaborate closely with our offensive security engineers to comprehend attack vectors, replicate realistic threats, and produce high-quality datasets for model training.
• Automate defense mechanisms. Develop robust data pipelines that continuously gather traffic logs, assess model performance, identify concept drift, and automate retraining based on the latest threat intelligence.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with extensive experience in machine learning libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Scikit-Learn.
• Background in deploying machine learning models in production environments, particularly handling high-throughput and low-latency demands.
• Strong grasp of web security, HTTP protocols, and common attack vectors (e.g., OWASP Top 10, L7 DDoS, credential stuffing).
• Familiarity with edge computing platforms (Cloudflare, Fastly, AWS Edge) and CDN/WAF concepts.
• Solid foundation in software engineering principles. You code daily and can develop production-ready services in Python, Rust, TypeScript, or similar languages to integrate your models with our systems.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (GCP/AWS) and managing extensive datasets.
• Familiarity with LLMs and Agents.
• As part of a fully remote and distributed team, you are expected to work autonomously while being highly collaborative and self-motivated.
• Ability to effectively communicate and discuss complex technical concepts in both English and Portuguese.
