Machine Learning Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Create and build the platforms and frameworks that enable automated, data-driven decision-making.

• Work in partnership with data scientists to design algorithms and tools for training and executing simulations.

• Develop services that allow interaction with machine learning models via simulations.

• Engage in code reviews to maintain code quality and promote best practices.

• Create services that host trained models and collaborate with other application teams to incorporate them into business processes.

• Collect and analyze extensive datasets while constructing data model pipelines.

• Formulate algorithms that facilitate automated, data-driven decision-making.

• Develop tools to monitor the performance of machine learning applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's degree in software development, computer science, algorithm design, artificial intelligence, or machine learning, or equivalent experience.

• At least 1 year of experience in machine learning using libraries such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Caffe, Keras, etc.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience handling large datasets, both structured and unstructured.

• At least 1 year of programming experience in languages such as Java, Scala, C/C++, or Python.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience with the Hadoop ecosystem (Apache Hive, Pig, HBase, and Kafka).

• At least 1 year of experience with distributed computing platforms like Spark and user interface frameworks such as Angular or React.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience with cloud computing services including AWS or Azure.

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.

• Strong object-oriented programming skills, including proficiency in Java, Scala, C/C++, or Python.

• Understanding of big data concepts.
