This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee tax due diligence for mid-market transactions.
• Execute due diligence across various tax categories, including income tax, sales tax, property tax, payroll tax, and unclaimed property.
• Draft and deliver due diligence reports.
• Evaluate deal structures.
• Assist in post-transaction integration processes.
• Conduct initial and/or final reviews of work produced by managers, tax seniors, tax staff, and interns.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients on behalf of the firm.
• Discover opportunities for value-added services by keeping informed about clients' business requirements.
• Mentor and coach staff to help them enhance their skills and progress in their careers.
• Anticipate, identify, and resolve intricate tax-technical challenges.
• Efficiently manage expectations, both internal and external, regarding changes in project deliverables and timelines.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
• Over 5 years of experience in corporate tax.
• Proficiency in Subchapter C, partnerships, and international tax.
• Strong skills in project management, analysis, interpersonal relations, and communication.
• Self-motivated individual capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
