Looker Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with various teams throughout the organization (marketing, sales, product, customer success) to identify their data challenges, reporting schedules, and decision-making processes.

• Create and manage a streamlined collection of dashboards in Looker that address the needs of multiple teams.

• Develop and sustain efficient, thoroughly documented Looker Explores that enable business users to independently address ad-hoc inquiries.

• Analyze the reasons behind trends, highlight patterns that stakeholders may not have considered, and convert findings into clear, actionable recommendations.

• Ensure consistency in metric definitions, dashboard documentation, and naming conventions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in building and maintaining dashboards in Looker, with a strong grasp of LookML, Explores, and Looker's modeling layer.

• Proficient SQL skills - you are adept at crafting and optimizing complex queries.

• A demonstrated history of consolidating or rationalizing reporting — you recognize dashboard sprawl and know how to mitigate it.

• The capability to transform data into a narrative - not merely graphs, but insights that drive action.

• Experience managing Looker Explores and a solid comprehension of data modeling concepts.

• Strong analytical judgment and the assurance to draw conclusions independently.

• Excellent communication skills - you can convey findings to both technical and non-technical audiences effectively.

• Self-driven and comfortable working independently in a remote, asynchronous environment.
