• Create innovative concepts and produce longform YouTube content targeted at parent and teacher audiences in the U.S.
• Develop narrative-driven video content that effectively combines entertainment, education, and brand storytelling.
• Take full responsibility for the production and creative execution of a regular YouTube content series.
• Investigate YouTube trends, creator formats, audience behaviors, and cultural moments that are pertinent to Epic’s audience.
• Write or assist in scripting, storyboarding, interview frameworks, and content outlines.
• Oversee or coordinate production processes, including pre-production, filming, editing, and post-production.
• Collaborate with internal teams, freelancers, creators, editors, and external production partners.
• Ensure that content demonstrates a strong understanding of U.S. culture, parenting dynamics, humor, school environments, and online trends.
• Optimize videos to enhance engagement metrics such as watch time, audience retention, click-through rates, and subscriber growth.
• Introduce innovative creative ideas, experimentation, and novel storytelling techniques to enhance Epic’s YouTube presence.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in YouTube content production, digital media, branded storytelling, or longform video creation.
• Must reside in the United States.
• Solid portfolio demonstrating engaging longform YouTube or digital video content.
• Profound understanding of YouTube platform mechanics, storytelling formats, pacing, hooks, thumbnails, and audience retention strategies.
• Experience utilizing AI tools to create and enhance video content, including AI-generated visuals, voiceovers, editing support, and creative ideation.
• Extensive experience in designing eye-catching YouTube thumbnails and supporting graphic/social content optimized for clicks, engagement, and brand consistency.
• Experience in creating content for U.S. parent, family, education, or lifestyle audiences is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of American culture, humor, trends, and social media behavior.
• Excellent storytelling, scripting, and creative development abilities.
• Experience in managing production timelines and collaborating across creative teams.
• Capable of working independently while ensuring strong communication and accountability.
• A passion for education, literacy, children’s content, or mission-driven brands is a significant advantage.
