Lock Desk Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Evaluate and process rate lock requests in Encompass while maintaining communication with requestors as needed.

• Handle requests for changes, repricing, and extensions efficiently.

• Provide assistance to Loan Officers with inquiries related to post-lock files.

• Collaborate with leadership in Secondary Marketing on system modifications, testing, and enhancements to process flows.

• Aid in addressing inquiries regarding systems, products, and procedures.

• Support the Lock Desk by managing rate lock, change, and extension requests while ensuring adherence to rate lock policies.

• Offer real-time training, suggest process improvements, and provide cross-functional support within the Secondary Marketing team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in mortgage lending or related coursework is preferred.

• Familiarity with Optimal Blue and Encompass systems is preferred.

• Experience in Secondary Marketing or Capital Markets is preferred.

• Exceptional attention to detail, along with strong mathematical and analytical abilities.

• Outstanding communication and customer service skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.

• Capability to work during Pacific Standard Time Zone hours to support the West Coast region.
