Localization Director – EMEA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sweden.

📋 Description

• Oversee the creation of a localization strategy to facilitate the deployment of APX reactors in designated countries and markets.

• Customize the localization strategy to align with local content capabilities, regulatory standards, and customer demands.

• Administer the strategies for implementing localization; assist APX Delivery teams in identifying partners capable of meeting scope, schedule, and quality requirements (engaging early to enhance partner readiness).

• Develop replicable frameworks for contracting, governance, and partner management.

• Enhance Westinghouse's standing with governmental bodies and key local partners.

• Collaborate with internal executive leadership, the management of partners, and external stakeholders such as governmental and industry trade leaders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in mechanical, civil, or structural engineering.

• Residing in Europe.

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in large construction projects, including roles in commercial and project development leadership.

• Experience within the nuclear sector in Europe and Canada.

• Background in customer-oriented roles and market assessment.

• Specialized knowledge of AP1000 design.

• Experience in manufacturing and major project construction.

• Customer-focused and results-driven.

• Experience in major construction projects (EPC) and partnership development.

• Familiarity with the nuclear industry and a basic understanding of AP1000 procurement and engineering processes.

• Previous experience in engaging with executives.

• Assist in the preparation of detailed business plans for complex offerings.

• Conduct technical, economic, and risk assessments of complex supplier and partner companies.
