Loan Origination Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide assistance to licensed mortgage loan officers in the preparation and processing of loan applications.

• Collect and verify essential documentation from clients to guarantee completeness and precision.

• Engage with clients, real estate agents, and other stakeholders to streamline the loan process.

• Examine loan files to ensure compliance with both federal and state regulations.

• Collaborate with underwriters, processors, and other team members to secure timely loan approvals.

• Maintain precise records of all loan activities and client interactions.

• Keep abreast of industry regulations, loan products, and company policies.

• Possess a valid mortgage license in accordance with state and federal regulations.

• Demonstrated experience as a mortgage loan assistant or in a comparable role.

• Strong comprehension of mortgage loan processes and documentation requirements.

• Proficient communication and interpersonal skills.

• Keen attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.

• Proficient in mortgage software and the MS Office Suite.
