This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Identify new customers and lending prospects among property investors and referral partners such as brokers, realtors, buildings, and other sources.
• Focus primarily on driving sales while building and enhancing relationships with property investors, brokers, and real estate agents from various leads, referrals, industry events, etc.
• Develop robust connections with both existing and potential borrowers through in-person meetings, calls, emails, and other communication methods; take on the role of the primary escalation point to address customer issues and obstacles.
• Create and manage a client database within the CRM for effective use of contact management and customer relationship strategies.
• Regularly engage with existing and new customers to keep abreast of industry trends and maintain visibility, fostering relationships and facilitating sales.
• Attend industry events and conferences, utilizing pre-planning, onsite meetings, and post-event outreach to identify and convert leads.
• Utilize CRM marketing campaigns to nurture relationships and maintain contact with all customers.
• Assess all transactions using standardized tools to evaluate deals, generate quotes, and prepare terms sheets.
• Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing team to identify all potential business sources aimed at achieving monthly loan volume targets.
• Support the borrower approval process by gathering and supplying necessary information for loan processing submissions.
• Pre-qualify loan packages when assistance is requested by borrowers or brokers.
• Work directly with prospective borrowers to collect initial documentation.
• Monitor pipeline reports to ascertain the status of all loans and take action to mitigate potential issues.
• Enhance the Brand (both Anchor’s and yours) through blog posts, online postings, re-posts, and marketing strategies to engage current and future customer bases.
• Maintain open and transparent communication with customers to keep them updated on the status of submitted loans.
• Forge strong partnerships with leaders in Valuations, Construction, and Underwriting Departments; prioritize the overall loan pipeline and collaborate to resolve inter-departmental challenges.
• Stay informed about industry and competitor trends, leveraging this data to inform product, sales, and pricing strategies.
• At least 5 years of experience in business purpose lending.
• Proven ability to bring 10+ customer relationships to establish your book of business.
• Capable of prioritizing workload and managing time effectively in a remote work environment.
• Highly analytical with a keen eye for detail.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Quick to adapt to new procedures and systems.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable team player in a fast-paced start-up setting.
• NMLS license required.
• Highly self-driven and disciplined.
• Leadership and managerial skills are preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram is a plus.
• Experience with CRM systems is essential.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of learning new software and systems.
• Prior lending experience is necessary.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
