This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver training for new hires and assist management with coaching and additional training for employees requiring development.
• Lead all-hands training sessions to convey departmental and divisional updates and changes.
• Create, develop, and maintain the curriculum and learning materials for new hires.
• Act as a subject matter expert in Loss Mitigation, ensuring accurate communication across functions.
• Provide feedback on performance and progress to trainees, employees, and leadership.
• Integrate relevant feedback into training programs.
• Review and audit loan-servicing documentation, claims, modification figures, notices, appeal language, and timelines for regulatory compliance.
• Assess and audit income, expense, and qualifying information for compliance purposes.
• Schedule and conduct monthly mediations and personal meetings as necessary.
• Establish, document, and maintain processes and procedures within the department.
• Analyze performance metrics and formulate coaching strategies.
• Identify best practices and inefficiencies within the department and recommend enhancements to leadership.
• Cross-train team members across departments until they achieve proficiency.
• Oversee training administration, including scorecards, materials, and system access.
• Collaborate with Guild University and other trainers.
• Provide support during peak production days as needed.
• Engage in special projects and fulfill other assigned responsibilities.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• At least one year of experience in Guild Loan Servicing is required.
• A minimum of two years' experience in mortgage training and familiarity with any of Guild's systems; OR at least three years' experience in training or roles related to public speaking.
• Prior experience in training/teaching, both in virtual and in-person formats, or in presentation roles is essential.
• Experience in developing training content and technical writing is required.
• Capability to coach less experienced team members, answer inquiries, and enhance skills.
• Ability to function in an emotionally demanding role that necessitates patience, empathy, and sensitivity.
• Competence in facilitating learning solutions based on adult learning theories.
• Willingness and ability to quickly learn new tools and techniques.
• Strong interpersonal skills, multitasking abilities, project management skills, and analytical and critical thinking capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with public speaking proficiency.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Wiki, collaborative cloud-based applications, and third-party software tools.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and be self-motivated.
• Skills in coordinating meetings and organizing training sessions.
• Exceptional time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
• Ability to adhere to and implement established process protocols.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday during business hours.
