This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy—family, individual, and group—for eating disorders and related diagnoses in a virtual clinic (i.e., telehealth) environment.
• Implement family-based treatment (FBT), enhanced cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT-E), cognitive behavioral therapy for ARFID, and other evidence-supported interventions for patients of all ages with eating disorders and their families.
• Manage a caseload of 30-40 clients, with expectations of providing 20-26 hours of direct care, while allocating remaining time for administrative duties.
• Engage in initial and ongoing training sessions.
• Evaluate and diagnose mental health disorders.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team, which includes physicians, dietitians, patient mentors, family mentors, and external providers.
• Utilize messaging between sessions to support clients and communicate with the treatment team via Equip’s EMR, adhering to Equip’s policies and procedures.
• Actively participate in Treatment Team meetings, supervision, and departmental gatherings.
• Maintain licensure in your home state and obtain licensure in additional states as requested by Equip (licensure costs will be covered by Equip).
• Possess an active, unrestricted, and independent license to practice psychotherapy in Wisconsin.
• Capability to manage a diverse caseload of patients across all ages, with co-occurring conditions, various backgrounds, and differing levels of acuity.
• Commitment to evidence-based care and treatment methodologies.
• Availability to provide care two evenings per week (meaning being accessible until 8 PM in your patient caseload's primary time zone).
• Be an enthusiastic and strong collaborator within a team setting.
• Ability to effectively and safely deliver care in a virtual environment.
• Strong passion for mental health and eating disorder treatment, along with a desire to enhance access to such care.
• Experience with Family-Based Treatment and/or eating disorder treatment is preferred (Nice to Haves).
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment methods and/or intensive treatment environments is preferred (Nice to Haves).
• Experience in providing support to patients with suicidal ideation and trauma is preferred (Nice to Haves).
• Background in case management and/or close collaboration with a multidisciplinary care team is preferred (Nice to Haves).
