Licensed Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver evidence-informed family, individual, and group therapy for eating disorders and related diagnoses in a virtual clinic/telehealth environment.

• Apply FBT, CBT-E, CBT for ARFID, and other evidence-based interventions throughout different age groups.

• Manage a caseload of 30-40 patients, dedicating 20-26 hours to direct care and utilizing the remaining time for administrative responsibilities.

• Engage in initial and ongoing training sessions.

• Evaluate and diagnose mental health disorders.

• Collaborate with physicians, dietitians, patient mentors, family mentors, and external providers.

• Utilize between-session messaging and communicate with the treatment team via Equip’s EMR system.

• Attend Treatment Team meetings, supervision sessions, and departmental meetings.

• Maintain licensure in the home state and acquire additional state licenses as required.

• Provide evidence-based treatment, thorough documentation, and continuous assessment of patients’ and families’ requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess an active, unrestricted, and independent license to practice psychotherapy in a state within the Pacific Timezone.

• Capability to support patients across all age groups, including those with co-occurring conditions, diverse backgrounds, and varying levels of acuity.

• Strong commitment to evidence-based care and treatment methodologies.

• Availability to offer care two evenings per week until 8 pm in the primary time zone of the patient caseload.

• Ability to commit to 30 hours per week for direct patient care.

• Willingness to provide at least 16 hours of direct patient care after 2 pm in the respective patient care time zone.

• Capacity to attend mandatory meetings, such as group supervision, treatment huddles, labs/all-hands, and individual supervision.

• Proficient in safely and effectively delivering care in a virtual format.

• Genuine passion for mental health and treatment of eating disorders.

• Successful completion of a Master’s or Doctoral degree in a mental health counseling/therapy program accredited by CACREP, COAMFTE, CSWE, MPCAC, or a comparable accrediting body.

• Preferred but not required: experience in Family-Based Treatment and/or eating disorder therapy.

• Preferred but not required: familiarity with evidence-based treatment methodologies and/or intensive treatment environments.

• Preferred but not required: experience assisting patients with suicidal ideation and trauma.

• Preferred but not required: case management experience and/or experience collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary care team.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship needs must be communicated.
