Licensed Social Worker, LSW

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Deliver outpatient services through Brave Health’s telehealth platform.

• Provide empathetic, high-quality mental health care remotely.

• Offer care to patients of all ages.

• Collaborate with commercial health plans, Medicaid, and Medicare patients.

• Complete approximately 30 client care hours weekly, averaging six clients per day.

• Utilize telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools.

• Partner with clients to meet their treatment objectives.

• Conduct thorough assessments.

• Create treatment plans.

• Diagnose and address mental health and/or substance abuse issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree and appropriate licensure.

• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.

• Cannot support temporary or employer-dependent visa statuses.

• Private work-from-home environment that complies with patient safety and HIPAA regulations.

• Fluent in English; Spanish preferred; additional languages are a plus.

• Familiarity with mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses.

• Experience in treatment planning.

• Proficient in using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools.

• Proven experience in collaborating with clients to achieve goals.

• Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments.

• Comfortable completing 30 client care hours weekly, averaging six clients per day.

• Experience working with patients diagnosed with substance abuse and addiction disorders.

• Background in chronic severe mental illnesses, such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or schizoaffective disorder.

• Full-time one-on-one psychotherapy experience, defined as 20 or more client-facing hours weekly.

• Current licensure/credential such as LSW, LMSW, LPC, LPC(A), APC, MHC-LP, LPC-A, LMHCA, RMHCI, RCSWI, or RMFTI.
