This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Interact with members through phone, email, and other methods to provide assistance with quotes, new policies, billing questions, underwriting inquiries, and policy modifications.
• Establish rapport and trust by asking insightful questions, comprehending member needs, and delivering precise solutions to reduce transfers and escalations.
• Execute insurance transactions including endorsements, cancellations, and coverage modifications while ensuring adherence to industry regulations and internal policies.
• Work in collaboration with insurance carriers and internal teams to address issues and furnish timely, accurate information.
• Maintain necessary certifications and actively seek opportunities to enhance product knowledge.
• Achieve performance metrics related to service quality, responsiveness, and member satisfaction.
• High School diploma or GED is mandatory.
• Minimum of 6 months of customer service experience is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional and empathetic demeanor.
• Capacity to multitask across various applications while ensuring focus and precision.
• An Active Property & Casualty or Personal Lines license is essential.
• Typing speed of 20 WPM with 90% accuracy is required.
• Strong understanding of insurance compliance and regulatory standards.
• Proficient research and internet skills; quick learner across diverse subjects and systems.
• Basic technical troubleshooting skills and comfort with digital tools are necessary.
• High-speed Internet via wired ethernet connection is required; no Wi-Fi, Satellite, Cellular Hotspot, or Cellular Internet.
• An upload speed of 5 Mbps and download speed of 50 Mbps is needed.
• Internet service provider must be highly stable with 1% or less packet loss and latency under 100ms.
• Availability of a cell phone or tablet and the capability to install required 2FA software.
• A quiet environment during the interview is essential, free from Bluetooth devices, smart watches, additional computers, or writing instruments; door closed; phones must not be allowed.
