Licensed Master Social Worker, LMSW

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Deliver outpatient services via Brave Health’s telehealth program.

• Provide mental health treatment to individuals of all ages.

• Manage client care for around 30 hours each week, with an average of six clients daily.

• Collaborate with clients to meet their personal goals.

• Conduct thorough assessments and create tailored treatment plans.

• Employ telehealth software, video conferencing, and internal communication platforms.

• Support patients with mental health issues and/or substance abuse disorders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree and appropriate licensure.

• Unrestricted ability to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.

• A dedicated work-from-home environment that ensures privacy for patient safety and HIPAA compliance.

• Proficiency in English.

• Understanding of mental health and/or substance abuse disorders.

• Skills in treatment planning.

• Comfort and experience with telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools.

• Proven ability to partner with clients to help them achieve their goals.

• Capacity to utilize in-depth assessments.

• Availability for a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday.

• Ability to fulfill 30 hours of client care weekly.

• Experience with patients diagnosed with substance abuse and addiction disorders.

• Experience supporting patients with chronic severe mental illnesses, such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or schizoaffective disorder.

• At least one year of full-time, one-on-one psychotherapy experience, defined as 20 or more hours of client-facing work per week.

• Valid and current licensure/credential, including LMSW or an appropriate clinical license.
