Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Spanish Speaking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Provide outpatient services through Brave Health’s telehealth program.

• Deliver compassionate and high-quality mental health care remotely.

• Offer treatment to patients throughout their lifespan.

• Work around 30 client care hours per week, averaging six clients each day.

• Utilize telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools.

• Collaborate with clients to help them achieve their goals.

• Conduct thorough assessments.

• Diagnose mental health and/or substance use disorders.

• Create individualized treatment plans.

• Potentially acquire additional state licenses as Brave Health expands into new regions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s level degree and appropriate licensure.

• Unrestricted ability to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.

• Must not depend on temporary or employer-dependent visa statuses.

• Private workspace suitable for ensuring patient safety and adhering to HIPAA standards.

• Proficiency in English.

• Spanish language skills preferred; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.

• Understanding of mental health and/or substance use disorder diagnoses.

• Skills in treatment planning.

• Comfortable using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools.

• Experience in partnering with clients to reach their goals.

• Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments.

• Current full/independent clinical licensure, such as LCSW or an equivalent credential.

• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as necessary.

• Capability to complete around 30 client care hours each week.

• Experience working with patients suffering from chronic severe mental illnesses, including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, or schizoaffective disorder.
