Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Deliver outpatient services through Brave Health’s telehealth program.

• Provide empathetic and top-quality mental health care remotely.

• Cater to patients of all ages throughout their lifespan.

• Collaborate with clients to help them achieve their personal goals.

• Perform comprehensive assessments of client needs.

• Create individualized treatment plans.

• Diagnose and manage mental health and/or substance abuse issues.

• Utilize telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools effectively.

• Complete around 30 client care hours weekly, averaging six clients daily.

• Work with individuals facing chronic severe mental illnesses, such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, or schizoaffective disorder.

• Potential to acquire additional state licenses as Brave Health enters new markets.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree and appropriate licensure required.

• Active full/independent clinical licensure (including LCSW or equivalent credentials).

• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States, with no need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.

• Capability to work from a private home environment that meets patient safety and HIPAA standards.

• Proficiency in English.

• Understanding of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses.

• Experience in treatment planning.

• Comfort in utilizing telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools.

• Ability to partner effectively with clients to achieve their objectives.

• Competence in conducting thorough assessments.

• Availability for a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday.

• Willingness to pursue additional state licenses as necessary.

• Ability to complete roughly 30 client care hours per week.

• Experience working with patients who have chronic severe mental health issues.
