Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Provide outpatient services utilizing Brave Health's telehealth program.

• Deliver mental health treatment remotely from a home office.

• Serve patients across various age groups through commercial health plans, Medicaid, and Medicare.

• Complete approximately 30 hours of client care weekly, averaging six clients per day.

• Conduct thorough assessments and create treatment plans.

• Diagnose mental health and/or substance abuse disorders.

• Collaborate with clients to achieve their treatment objectives.

• Utilize telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication platforms.

• Potentially acquire additional state licenses as Brave Health expands into new regions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's level degree and appropriate licensure.

• Unrestricted right to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.

• A work-from-home environment that ensures privacy for patient safety and compliance with HIPAA.

• Proficiency in English; Spanish is preferred and other languages are a plus.

• Familiarity with mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses.

• Skills in treatment planning.

• Comfort with telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools.

• Experience in partnering with clients to meet their goals.

• Ability to perform comprehensive assessments.

• Current full/independent clinical licensure (including LCSW or equivalent credential).

• Willingness to pursue additional state licenses when necessary.

• Capacity to complete 30 hours of client care weekly.

• Experience with chronic severe mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, or schizoaffective disorder.
