Legal Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Review, draft, and negotiate NDAs and related transaction documents for private equity, M&A, and financing deals.

• Utilize client-specific playbooks and structured frameworks to ensure alignment with established client positions.

• Recognize deviations from playbook positions and implement suitable fallback language in accordance with client direction.

• Oversee your own workflow and document queue, effectively prioritizing tasks to meet defined turnaround times and service levels.

• Assist in live deal execution across multiple simultaneous transactions in dynamic environments.

• Collaborate closely with colleagues across our global legal team to ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery.

• Work directly with internal stakeholders to uphold operational efficiency and service excellence.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of internal processes and delivery workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• LLB Degree or equivalent qualification.

• 1-3 years of experience in transactional legal work, contract review, or similar high-volume legal settings.

• Experience in reviewing NDAs and/or similar transactional contracts.

• Exceptional written and spoken English skills.

• A preference for working within clearly defined rules and guidance, with a strong inclination towards applying structured playbooks rather than navigating legal uncertainties.

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

• A keen interest in new technologies, especially Artificial Intelligence and machine learning, with a desire to innovate within the legal sector.
