Legal Operations Manager, 1 Year Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Provide vital assistance to the Legal Counsel at Textile Exchange.

• Ensure legal compliance and tracking, manage state and charitable registrations, and aid in identifying compliance risks.

• Recognize opportunities for enhancement and increased efficiency.

• Ensure the Legal team utilizes technology and innovation effectively.

• Foster continuous improvement and training initiatives.

• Create an efficient knowledge management system to capture and disseminate information.

• Handle document preparation, review, deadline tracking, and maintain digital records.

• Support CLM data governance to guarantee data consistency, compliance, and accuracy across various systems.

• Monitor and uphold data integrity while addressing quality issues.

• Maintain legal templates, including contracts and others.

• Track contracts throughout their lifecycle.

• Conduct legal research and assist in managing legal matters.

• Submit invoices and help track legal expenses.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience.

• Bachelor’s degree along with experience in legal operations, legal technology, and project management.

• Advanced degrees in law or an MBA are advantageous.

• Experience in data governance and data management.

• Extensive experience with contract management and familiarity with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) software.

• Proficiency with signing software, such as Adobe Sign or DocuSign.

• Proven track record in project coordination.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Experience collaborating with individuals from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and perspectives.
