This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Oversee the contract database with a strong emphasis on the accuracy of data entry, which includes inputting, verifying, and auditing field data to guarantee complete, consistent, and reliable contract records along with document integrity.
• Manage the entire lifecycle of legal inquiries in a shared inbox, from initial contact to final resolution, offering guidance on best practices and leveraging departmental experts to provide contract interpretation, policy guidance, and direction on legal principles.
• Assist employees with the contract management database, internal procedures, and foundational legal principles.
• Simplify complex legal concepts into clear and understandable language.
• Draft legal documents using pre-established templates and playbooks.
• Address inquiries within specified response turnaround times, maintaining professionalism and a service-oriented approach.
• Cultivate and maintain professional relationships throughout the organization, both within and outside the legal team.
• Act as an advanced user of contract databases and internal file systems, continuously enhancing expertise through curiosity and proactive learning.
• Assist with various projects as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2+ years of experience in a legal administrative capacity.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, strong verbal and written communication skills, and outstanding organizational abilities.
• Understanding of legal terminology and contract principles, with the ability to convey complex information across all organizational levels.
• High-level critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Strong team orientation, committed to shared goals and mutual support.
• Proven curiosity and enthusiasm for ongoing learning and professional development.
• Proficiency with common software applications, particularly Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
• Interest and aptitude for learning new technologies, processes, and systems.
• Willingness for limited domestic travel.
