This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Delivering daily legal guidance to internal stakeholders throughout the organization on a diverse array of legal and regulatory issues.
• Offering counsel on the development and implementation of new products, services, and business initiatives, including guidance on cross-border operations, passporting arrangements, and relevant conduct of business regulations.
• Evaluating, drafting, and negotiating agreements with customers, including contractual documents, disclosures, account paperwork, and online content.
• Assessing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts with institutional clients and counterparties.
• Supporting regulatory inquiries from UK and EU regulatory bodies, as well as exchanges in the UK, EU, and globally.
• Collaborating and interacting with external legal consultants.
• A qualified lawyer (solicitor or barrister) with 3-5+ years of experience at a law firm, financial institution, financial services regulatory agency, exchange, broker-dealer, or technology company.
• Strong academic credentials with a solid foundation in legal analysis and reasoning.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex issues in a clear, logical, and concise manner.
• Strong judgment, analytical capability, and effective communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage projects from inception through to completion.
• Practical, solution-focused approach with sound business judgment.
• Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams distributed globally.
• Intellectual curiosity and interest in fintech, digital assets, and blockchain technology.
