Legal Consultant – Regulatory, Digital Assets, Payments

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Oversee the regulatory strategy for stablecoin, digital payment, and asset projects across various jurisdictions.

• Evaluate and clarify the regulatory frameworks surrounding cryptocurrency, stablecoin, payments, and digital assets, delivering concise and actionable guidance to business and product teams.

• Create and uphold jurisdiction-specific regulatory playbooks that encompass licensing, structural frameworks, partner models, and ongoing compliance responsibilities.

• Establish and nurture relationships with regulators, policymakers, and significant external partners to facilitate licensing, approvals, and entry into the market.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess 5-12(+) years of Post-Qualified Experience (PQE), preferably with a background in payment regulation and digital assets; candidates with experience as payment regulatory or digital asset attorneys are welcome; legal qualifications are advantageous but not required.

• A solid understanding of regulatory issues related to cryptocurrency and stablecoins is desirable.
