Legal & Compliance Manager – Focus on Energy Law

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Providing legal guidance to the business unit on all matters related to the company

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts that are legally sound

• Engaging with authorities, external service providers, and internal departments

• Assisting in ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations and data protection

• Supporting the Head of Legal & Compliance in daily operations

• Conducting research on contemporary legal issues, legislative updates, and pertinent case law

• Organizing and maintaining legal databases and contract archives

⛳️ Requirements

• Qualified lawyer (Volljurist) or business lawyer (Wirtschaftsjurist)

• Completed training as a legal assistant (Rechtsanwaltsfachangestellte/r), legal specialist (Rechtsfachwirt/in), or notary clerk (Notarfachangestellte/r) with relevant professional experience

• Several years of professional experience in a law firm, industry, or a notary’s office

• Strong understanding of energy law, commercial law, and corporate law

• Proficient in MS Office and, preferably, document management systems

• Experience in coordinating and communicating with authorities and external advisors

• Ability to articulate legal concepts clearly and accessibly

• Fluent in both German and English

• Proactive, inquisitive, and eager to learn about new topics

• Careful, organized, and capable of working independently

• Discretion, teamwork, and excellent organizational skills
