Legal Analyst, Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform document reviews and legal assessments of materials sourced from company resources, including VDI drives, laptop scans, U-drive, Department Shares, Salesforce, ServiceNow, ShareFile, Smartsheet, and SharePoint.

• Analyze legal implications of reported communications, identified systems, and scanned materials for policy infringements; determine necessary actions and convey findings.

• Archive and communicate materials that need attention, including those with violations, across various platforms.

• Oversee reported compliance correspondence, respond to inquiries, and keep comprehensive records of communication and decisions.

• Manage notifications to clients and communication with colleagues regarding policy compliance as needed.

• Compile compliance reports and refresh the knowledge base.

• Collaborate with team members and leadership to showcase statistics through dashboards.

• Investigate insider threats, data loss, and operational disruptions utilizing tools like Microsoft Purview.

• Assist with e-discovery requests and workflow audits.

• Handle extensive data sets and archive files; perform ad-hoc requests as required.

• Manage prioritized projects and special tasks.

• Utilize repeatable project plans and best practices to oversee IP Compliance responsibilities and provide feedback for process enhancement.

• Administer IP Compliance product support cases to ensure timely and accurate updates in line with SLAs for internal clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in legal or compliance roles with a focus on data analysis.

• Preference for candidates with IP Legal and E-Discovery experience.

• Proficient in Nuix Adaptive, Nuix Automate, Nuix Investigate, Microsoft DLP tools, Druva, ServiceNow, Purview, SharePoint, Salesforce, Smartsheet, Teams, OneDrive, Excel (including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and VBA), and the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Familiarity with related systems such as NUIX and Purview Content Search is preferred.

• Understanding of enterprise systems (PeopleSoft, JDE, Siebel, EBS).

• Strong attention to detail and analytical capabilities.

• Ability to manage large data volumes effectively.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Capability to work under tight deadlines.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Compliance, Legal, or equivalent experience.

• Skill in generating and implementing searches for key documents within the database.

• Ability to educate users on adherence to internal policies.

• Competence in conducting quality controls and quality assurance.

• Capability to design and implement project workflows.

• Proficiency in drafting document review reports and performing factual research.

• Experience managing large data sets, archiving files, and working with databases.

• Commitment to self-training and self-study to achieve certifications in IP Compliance-related standards and technologies.
