This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manages all employee leaves of absence, including FMLA, short/long-term disability, parental leave, family leave, military leave, and other statutory leaves.

• Ensures compliance with NGS’ policies and all applicable federal, state, and local leave regulations.

• Coordinates requests for ADA accommodations and oversees related medical documentation.

• Acts as a subject matter expert, providing advice and guidance to employees, managers, and HR Business Partners regarding leave entitlements, policies, procedures, and available benefit resources.

• Maintains accurate and comprehensive records of all leave cases within the HRIS.

• Collaborates with the Vice President to support relationship management with The Hartford, NGS’ third-party leave administrator, and determines which complex claims will be managed externally.

• Works alongside the VP, The Hartford, and the Office of Legal and Business Affairs to ensure compliance with and coordination of state paid leave benefits programs.

• Administers Workers’ Compensation claims from the initial report through to resolution, ensuring adherence to state/federal laws and company policies.

• Completes the annual OSHA reporting.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in leave program administration.

• Experience in managing leave programs and Workers’ Compensation.

• Strong understanding of leave administration, including FMLA, state-mandated leave benefits, and disability plans.

• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

• Must possess strong attention to detail and quality of work, including proficient proofreading skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
