Lead UI/UX Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee a team of designers by delegating tasks, evaluating performance, conducting design reviews, and mentoring them in both UX strategy and UX/UI design.

• Collaborate with other leaders within the product organization to establish UX strategy and vision for the various products we are creating and supporting.

• Manage the onboarding process for the rest of the UX/UI team and prioritize tasks based on business value.

• Work closely with engineering, product, and business teams to enhance intuitive and engaging user experiences.

• Develop frameworks, conceptual diagrams, user flows, wireframes, detailed visual mockups, and prototypes to convey innovative product concepts while collaborating in cross-functional teams.

• Produce prototypes that effectively illustrate various design concepts rapidly, understanding the customer and business challenges they address.

• Lead design solutions informed by user needs, business objectives, and technical limitations for each product.

• Utilize service blueprints to integrate and highlight both ‘front-stage’ and ‘back-stage’ experiences.

• Oversee all design phases from concept development to production.

• Analyze user feedback and refine design and concepts based on insights gathered from that feedback.

• Shape the roadmap for research initiatives, product development, and feature enhancements.

• Aid in formulating design guidelines to ensure consistent user experiences throughout the user journey.

• Assess requests, determine and communicate the effort required, and plan tasks to be accomplished in a dynamic team setting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of proven experience in UX strategy and UX/UI design.

• A portfolio showcasing previous design projects.

• Experience in leading a team of designers.

• Strong communication skills.

• Proficiency in wireframe and design tools, including Figma.

• Exceptional visual design abilities.

• Experience working within an agile development framework.

• Background in designing both B2C and B2B experiences.
