This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee a team comprising Engineers, Senior Engineers, Consultants, Senior Consultants, and Architects.
• Deliver Sales Engineering support, assist with BOM and SOW creation, and plan and design solutions for intricate multi-vendor systems.
• Collaborate with various manufacturers and their engineering teams for design support and lab access.
• Investigate, design, and develop scalable solutions tailored to customer IT requirements.
• Aid in the formation and recruitment of a professional services team within the designated region.
• Partner with the Services Director to establish training objectives for each team member.
• Oversee the technical growth and job satisfaction of employees.
• Organize monthly internal training sessions for staff.
• Provide feedback to the Services Director regarding employee evaluations.
• Support the Services Director in resource allocation management.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with manufacturers and vendors.
• Act as an escalation point for Engineers, Senior Engineers, Consultants, Senior Consultants, and Architects.
• Ensure Quality Assurance (QA) for all projects within the region.
• Engage with key vendors to remain informed about products and technologies.
• Hold multiple advanced manufacturer-specific certifications, such as CCIE, CISSP, VCDX.
• Collaborate with the Services Director and National Practice Leads to create standardized assessment, delivery, and testing documentation for ePlus’s national service offerings.
• Pursue ongoing education for relevant certifications that enhance the Lead Technical Architect position.
• Be available to address customer IT requirements and uphold ePlus' standards of service.
• A minimum of 10 years of hands-on IT experience.
• At least 5 years in a Consultant or Architect capacity.
• A 4-year college degree is preferred.
• Possession of multiple industry-recognized certifications, such as CCIE, VCP, VCDX, CISSP.
• Exceptional customer service abilities, both in-person and via phone.
• Strong presentation, communication, and documentation skills.
• Solid understanding of business concepts, including costing, P&L, and pricing strategies.
• Capacity to think quickly and devise solutions spontaneously.
• Comprehensive knowledge of IT design and planning, implementation, and support.
