This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• You will strategically cultivate our key international accounts—emphasizing long-term growth, infrastructure utilization, and sustainable customer relationships rather than merely securing quick deals.
• You will transform OBRs into an effective management tool for customer relations, guiding clients through the process and establishing standards for data-driven customer management, growth potential, risk assessment, and account vitality.
• You will provide counsel to technical contacts regarding VPS, bare-metal, and infrastructure matters, along with contemporary AI/GPU workloads.
• In collaboration with Product, Operations, and Support, you will enhance a scalable key account and customer success framework.
• You will lead our three-member KAM team both technically and managerially, further developing standards, role definitions, and prioritization.
• You will represent Contabo at selected customer events, infrastructure and AI conferences, and pertinent technical communities.
• Several years of experience as a Technical Account Manager, Strategic Customer Success Manager, or Enterprise Account Manager in the cloud, hosting, or infrastructure sectors.
• A strong technical comprehension of VPS, bare-metal, or cloud infrastructure, along with the capability to engage with engineers, DevOps teams, and technical decision-makers on an equal level.
• Current market knowledge in the cloud and infrastructure domains—you are familiar with competitors, trends, and technological shifts, utilizing this knowledge to better position Contabo’s offerings.
• A genuine passion for AI and market trends—you monitor how AI influences infrastructure, workloads, and customer needs, actively integrating this insight into customer conversations.
• Experience in strategic customer development, encompassing expansion, retention, NRR, or similar metrics.
• Familiarity with OBR/QBR formats or equivalent executive review frameworks.
• Experience in leading teams.
• A structured, analytical, and data-driven work methodology.
• Proficient in both German and English.
