This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of QA professionals, cultivating an atmosphere of growth and teamwork.
• Create and execute effective training pathways to elevate team members' capabilities and career advancement.
• Perform regular performance assessments, offering constructive feedback and assisting in individual development initiatives.
• Advocate for a culture of ongoing learning and enhancement within the QA team.
• Define and implement strong automation strategies and frameworks grounded in extensive knowledge of test automation.
• Propel the use of modern automation tools and best practices to improve efficiency and expand test coverage.
• Serve as the main point of contact for all QA-related issues, working closely with development teams.
• Establish, oversee, and refine QA processes and methodologies to guarantee optimal efficiency and effectiveness.
• Identify opportunities for enhancement within the QA function and apply data-driven solutions.
• Undertake and manage ad hoc projects and responsibilities as necessary to adapt to the changing needs of the department.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 15-20 years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance, with a substantial portion in a leadership or management role.
• Proven expertise in test automation principles, frameworks such as Playwright and Cypress, testing tools, and experience in designing and scaling automation solutions.
• Demonstrated experience in crafting, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive training and development programs for QA professionals across various skill levels.
• Extensive background in leading, mentoring, and developing QA teams, fostering a positive and high-performance environment.
• In-depth knowledge of various testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid), types (Functional, Non-Functional, Performance, Security, Usability), and levels (Unit, Integration, System, UAT).
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities, with the capacity to influence and collaborate effectively at all organizational levels.
