Lead Software Engineer – Healthcare Data, Audience Applications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the architecture and actively participate in the development of distributed systems that facilitate healthcare data workflows.

• Design and create scalable data pipelines (both batch and streaming) for extensive datasets.

• Develop and sustain APIs and services that adhere to strong SLAs, observability standards, and fault tolerance.

• Implement identity resolution processes including matching, deduplication, and graph-based linkage.

• Maintain high data quality through validation, reconciliation, and monitoring frameworks.

• Create systems with robust security measures, including encryption, access control, and audit capabilities.

• Incorporate privacy-by-design principles in all systems that manage PHI/PII.

• Collaborate with Product and Data teams to convert healthcare requirements into scalable architectural solutions.

• Promote engineering best practices in testing, CI/CD, code quality, and operational excellence.

• Guide and mentor engineers, serving as a technical leader within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience in software engineering with increasing levels of technical responsibility.

• Demonstrated success in building and scaling data-intensive or distributed systems.

• Experience in regulated environments, with a strong preference for healthcare.

• Proficient in system design and architectural principles.

• Capable of leading technically while remaining engaged in hands-on implementation.

• Excellent collaboration skills with engineering, product, and data teams.
