Lead Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead technical direction, ensure delivery excellence, and drive modernization throughout the Plan Hub ecosystem.

• Oversee comprehensive solution design involving React UI, Spring Boot APIs, and AWS cloud services.

• Guarantee that system designs are scalable, secure, and high-performing, adhering to enterprise standards.

• Manage sprint commitments while maintaining a strong focus on delivery predictability.

• Promote platform reliability, observability, and readiness for production support.

• Utilize AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to enhance development speed and code quality.

• Improve CI/CD pipelines through automation to ensure performance, security, and quality checks.

• Guide engineers by conducting code reviews, providing technical mentorship, and facilitating knowledge sharing sessions.

• Collaborate with Architects, QA, FSA, and Business stakeholders to align solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8-10 years of practical technology experience.

• Experience in leading a team of 3-6 members.

• A problem-solving mindset.

• Background in software development.

• Proficient in Pro*C, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle SQL, UNIX (Solaris), and C-Shell.

• Desired experience with JAVA/J2EE programming, web services, Spring Boot, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and PERL programming.

• Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, or equivalent relevant work experience.

• A passion for working and learning within a team environment.

• Design expertise and troubleshooting capabilities on core/backend systems.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
