Lead Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Create high-quality backend systems using NodeJS, while following best coding practices.

• Build high-quality frontend applications utilizing ReactJS / NextJS, adhering to best coding standards.

• Ensure the stability of production systems and quickly address critical issues to reduce operational disruptions.

• Evaluate existing code and pinpoint opportunities for improvements and optimizations.

• Assist cross-functional teams by efficiently managing change requests.

• Mentor and coach junior developers on software development best practices.

• Conduct reviews of peer pull requests to uphold code quality and consistency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline, with a solid foundation in algorithms and data structures.

• More than 7 years of full-time experience in software engineering.

• Expertise in backend development technologies such as NodeJS, NestJS, ExpressJS, GraphQL, and Postman.

• Proficient in frontend development technologies including ReactJS, NextJS, and Styled-components.

• Experience in database management with MongoDB and MySQL.

• Knowledgeable in automation workflows using tools like Selenium, Cypress, and Puppeteer.

• A demonstrated passion for programming and an ability to solve problems independently.
