Lead Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver technical and architectural direction to the software development team.

• Collaborate closely with business analysts to design, develop, and test new features and functionalities for our core product.

• Engage with clients and product teams to offer expertise in design and architecture.

• Provide technical mentorship and leadership to team members.

• Work in tandem with support analysts to identify and resolve bugs.

• Create prototypes and proof of concepts to explore new technologies and assess their integration into the product.

• Write clean, reliable, and efficient code, focusing on future maintainability.

• May oversee and mentor direct reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• At least 8+ years of industry-related experience, typically including 2+ years in an AVP-level role or an external equivalent.

• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in software development is preferred.

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and relational database concepts.

• Expert-level proficiency in SQL and a solid understanding of database concepts.

• Significant experience with: .NET Framework, JavaScript, C#.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience with Service-Oriented Architectures.

• Familiarity with object-relational mappings.

• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
