This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement the quantitative UX research strategy and data framework for key product lines, ensuring that insights align with business priorities, core customer satisfaction (CSAT) metrics, and product objectives.
• Independently design and lead sophisticated, multi-method quantitative research initiatives (e.g., A/B testing frameworks, intricate on-platform surveys, MaxDiff, profiling, and behavioral modeling).
• Transform complex log data and extensive survey findings into actionable insights and strategic narratives that guide leadership decisions and mitigate risks in high-stakes product discovery.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to pinpoint research questions, define essential user journeys, and establish mutual understandings early in the product development process.
• Innovate within current quantitative methodologies to enhance team efficiency, operational speed, and user experience measurement capabilities.
• Actively mentor junior and mid-level researchers, promoting a culture of evidence-based research rigor throughout the organization while providing guidance on survey design and quantitative principles.
• Assist in the upkeep of internal insights repositories, facilitate access to data tools across teams, and advocate for user experience metrics as direct indicators of core business outcomes.
• A minimum of 8 years of relevant applied experience in quantitative UX research, product data science, or a related analytical consumer insights domain.
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Psychology, Economics, Neuroscience, Human Factors Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computational Social Science, or equivalent professional experience (an advanced degree is preferred).
• Extensive knowledge of probability and advanced statistical modeling techniques (e.g., GLM, multi-variable regression, Bayesian statistics) applied to large, unstructured datasets, along with the capability to educate non-experts on data intricacies.
• High-level proficiency in SQL and specialized programming languages such as R or Python for custom analytics and data manipulation.
• In-depth expertise in advanced survey design, effective user sampling processes, data stratification, and the use of leading intercept deployment tools (e.g., Qualtrics, Dscout).
• A compelling case study portfolio that demonstrates your complete research execution, professional visual deliverables (e.g., charts, matrices, frameworks), and the measurable business or metric-driven impact of your work.
