This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Armenia.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of essential product metrics related to trial conversion and retention, including the 1st renewal rate, 1st workout rating, welcome workout completion, workout-to-workout conversion, 6-week plan completion, and trial-to-paid conversion rate.

• Manage the coach persona comprehensively, defining communication style, engagement timing (workouts, chats, educational content, CRM, push notifications), and the user-related memory of the coach.

• Conduct a rapid experimentation cycle to generate, prioritize, implement, and evaluate new content hypotheses across various channels including welcome workouts, weekly releases, coach chats, educational content, and CRM.

• Treat user-coach chat as a vital product feature, establishing the conversation system (AI, human-in-the-loop, or hybrid), defining the tone of voice, and conducting experiments that improve transitions from chat to the next workout and enhance retention.

• Collaborate with the SME Content Methodologist to define the topic roadmap and the structure of the 6-week block. You will determine the order and content delivery while gaining sign-off on methodology from the SME.

• Design programs at the workout, weekly, and 6-week block levels (welcome workouts, weekly intents, regression and progression rules) in collaboration with the SME and external master trainers in each discipline.

• Improve the in-product programming experience, focusing on how users discover programs, access workouts, receive feedback, and are encouraged to return.

• Enhance cross-feature conversion strategies linking workout to chat, workout to educational content, chat to next workout, and any new content type introduced.

• Collaborate with the Content Producer to scale topics effectively, optimizing production speed, cost per topic, and content quality across studio shoots and AI-generated material.

• Commit to a quarterly production schedule with the Content Producer (including topics, formats, and delivery dates) and make adjustments based on experimental findings.

• Analyze product data personally to identify retention and engagement opportunities, avoiding reliance on a PM proxy.

• Develop a profound understanding of women aged 40 and above as both users and as the target audience for the coach's communication.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a product manager or product lead, successfully shipping consumer products from start to finish.

• Prior experience in the fitness industry, particularly within mobile platforms, is highly preferred.

• Demonstrated success in improving core conversion and retention metrics through personally designed and executed experiments.

• Solid understanding of fitness or wellness methodologies, enabling effective collaboration with SMEs and external trainers, providing constructive feedback, and critically evaluating methodologies.

• A formal educational background in kinesiology, exercise physiology, or sports science is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Experience with AI-driven or persona-focused products, including AI companions, coaching, character chat, or similar systems that foster a relationship rather than a tool-like interaction.

• Extensive knowledge of experimentation and hypothesis-driven development, including A/B testing, sample size considerations, and interpreting complex product data.

• Strong analytical abilities to directly manage product metrics without relying on a PM proxy.

• Proven experience in coordinating cross-functional teams (product, design, content, production, tech, science).

• Familiarity with programming or product experience aimed at a 40+ female audience (perimenopause-aware) is a significant advantage.
