Lead Native Android Developer

📋 Description

• Workstate is on the lookout for a Lead Native Android Developer to become part of our skilled team! If you are passionate about developing high-quality mobile applications and aim to promote collaborative teamwork and ongoing learning, you will excel at Workstate.

• In this position, you will take charge of providing hands-on agile tech leadership for our team as we create robust and efficient Android applications utilizing Kotlin. You will work alongside cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features while ensuring code quality and performance.

• This is a full-time remote opportunity available to residents of Colombia or Argentina who have the legal right to work there.

⛳️ Requirements

• The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in the following areas:

• - A successful history as a technical leader with team-wide influence.

• - Experience guiding development teams within an agile framework.

• - Experience in breaking down and delegating tasks to team members.

• - Proven ability to eliminate obstacles, guide developers out of challenging situations, and sustain forward progress.

• - Over 7 years of professional Android development experience with a strong emphasis on Java and Kotlin.

• - In-depth knowledge of Android app architecture, design patterns, and UI/UX principles.

• - Proficient in developing applications using Android SDK, Android Studio, and related frameworks.

• - Practical experience with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party libraries.

• - Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

• - Experience working in an Agile development environment.

• - Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.

• - B2 level (upper-intermediate) or higher English language proficiency with the ability to communicate effectively in professional settings, both in writing and verbally.
