Lead Mobile Developer – React Native, Node.js, GraphQL

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the mobile architecture framework, encompassing client app layers and backend integration (APIs, microservices, event-driven patterns).

• Set standards and reference architectures for React Native, Flutter, Xamarin, and ensure native interoperability.

• Develop mobile domain models, API agreements, security measures, and data governance policies for mobile applications.

• Create strategic roadmaps that align with business OKRs, ensuring a balance between innovation and platform reliability.

• Direct architecture for new mobile projects, including authentication processes, offline-first methodologies, background synchronization, push notifications, deep linking, app configuration, and feature flag management.

• Design robust backend integrations utilizing API gateways, GraphQL/REST, caching mechanisms, and pub/sub architectures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 12 years of experience in software engineering and architecture.

• More than 6 years of experience in leading enterprise-level mobile solutions.

• Extensive knowledge of hybrid and cross-platform frameworks, preferably with React Native or Flutter.

• Familiarity with native iOS and Android environments.

• Strong understanding of microservices, API gateways (such as Azure API Management, Kong, Apigee), along with experience in React Native, Node.js, and GraphQL.
