Lead Machine Learning Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and launch intelligent features for our VIP platform.

• Collaborate with scientists to evaluate, refine, and implement LLMs using domain-specific data.

• Develop and sustain Retrieval-Augmented-Generation (RAG) systems along with Reinforcement Learning frameworks.

• Integrate new features into our platform alongside product and software engineers.

• Establish best practices for prompt engineering and data management.

• Monitor and assess data and models throughout the model lifecycle.

• Keep abreast of the latest developments in NLP, LLMs, and agentic AI research.

⛳️ Requirements

• MSc (preferred) or BSc in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative discipline.

• Over 5 years of hands-on experience in building and deploying AI/ML systems, particularly in Natural Language Processing (NLP).

• Proven track record in designing and delivering chatbots, virtual assistants, or agentic systems utilizing modern LLM-based architectures.

• Strong programming skills in Python (5+ years), with extensive experience using core ML/NLP libraries like PyTorch and TensorFlow.

• Practical experience with LLM agent frameworks for creating complex, tool-utilizing applications, multi-agent orchestration, or setting up MCP services for platform functionalities.

• Demonstrated expertise in Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), including working with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, or ChromaDB.

• Familiarity with fine-tuning techniques for LLMs (e.g., LoRA/QLoRA) and experience with open-source models (e.g., Llama, Mistral) or major model APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic).

• More than 5 years of experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and knowledge of deploying AI models as scalable microservices using Docker and Kubernetes (KFP, KServe).

• Strong foundation in software engineering principles, including version control (Git), automated testing, and CI/CD methodologies.

• Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
