This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Chile.
• Lead the corporate governance of the company: Oversee and coordinate the legal management of the Board of Directors and corporate Committees, ensuring proper formalization, documentation, tracking of agreements, and adherence to governance standards.
• Design and enhance governance structures and practices in line with the standards required for regulated financial entities and growing organizations.
• Manage corporate policies and regulatory governance: Supervise the internal framework of corporate and regulatory policies, ensuring regulatory consistency, traceability, and proper implementation in collaboration with various areas of the company.
• Manage legal relations with regulators: Lead and coordinate legal relationships with regulatory and supervisory bodies, actively participating in authorization processes, oversight, regulatory requirements, and strategic discussions related to the evolution of the business and applicable regulatory framework.
• Advise on corporate operations and investments: Provide legal support in investment processes, acquisitions, shareholdings, and other strategic initiatives, including corporate reorganizations, corporate structuring, and institutional transformation projects, participating in the structuring, negotiation, and execution of relevant operations.
• Support financing and treasury operations: Provide legal advice on financing, credit, and financial management operations, including negotiation and review of complex contractual structures, ensuring solid legal frameworks aligned with applicable regulations.
• Lead and develop the corporate legal team: Manage, coordinate, and develop the team of lawyers under your responsibility, promoting autonomy, business legal judgment, and high technical standards in corporate legal support.
• Mitigate legal and regulatory risks: Identify legal risks associated with the operation and evolution of the business, proposing preventive measures and ensuring regulatory compliance in collaboration with key areas of the company.
• Contribute to the institutional evolution of Tenpo: Actively participate in strategic and transformational projects of the company, supporting Tenpo's evolution towards increasingly sophisticated regulatory, operational, and governance structures.
• Degree in Law (qualified).
• Preferred postgraduate or specialization in Corporate, Financial, or Regulatory Law.
• Desired training in Compliance, Corporate Governance, or Financial Markets.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate, regulatory, or financial law.
• Experience leading legal teams or coordinating lawyers.
• Experience working with Boards of Directors and corporate Committees.
• Experience in regulated companies, banking, fintech, corporate law firms, or financial institutions.
• Experience interacting directly with regulators or supervisory authorities.
• Preferred experience in M&A, financing, or corporate investments.
• Advanced Spanish language skills.
• Intermediate-advanced English (contract review and engagement with international stakeholders).
