Lead Engineer – Controls Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Responsible for the design and involvement in the development of high voltage and HVDC substations, ensuring their reliability, efficiency, and adherence to industry standards, protection standards, and regulations.

• Collaborating with fellow engineers and contributing to project documentation as well as continuous improvement initiatives are essential components of this position.

• Oversees and manages detailed execution progress, coordinating the delivery of necessary engineering documentation for procurement, manufacturing, and site erection related to the concerned activities, based on customer specifications and internal standards.

• The Lead Secondary Engineer possesses the capability to manage design packages integrated into 'Full set' projects in accordance with PMH.

• Engages with a significant customer regarding secured and potential contracts or target markets, which presents substantial financial, technical, and commercial risks and opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical Engineers) from an accredited university or Technology Academic studies.

• At least 3 years of engineering experience in a related field, ideally in a project and EPC type environment within HV substations, Power Generation, or the Oil & Gas industry.

• Knowledgeable about project technical management processes, preferably within a multi-disciplinary team context involving multiple interfaces.

• Proficient in English.

• Willing to work in various locations for short or medium durations and to travel internationally.
