This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +44 more states.
• Collaborate closely with leaders in Marketing, Sales, and Customer Experience to identify business challenges, establish analytical roadmaps, and drive growth initiatives.
• Create comprehensive analyses, models, and frameworks aimed at enhancing customer acquisition, lifecycle engagement, and retention rates.
• Develop scalable machine learning solutions (such as targeting, segmentation, uplift modeling, and LTV prediction) that enhance growth efficiency and return on investment (ROI).
• Propel acquisition, retention, and monetization efforts through data-driven experimentation and modeling techniques.
• Convert intricate data insights into clear, actionable recommendations that shape decision-making processes at all organizational levels.
• Partner with engineering teams to implement models and analytics pipelines with exceptional reliability and performance.
• Stay updated with cutting-edge AI solutions in the Data Science field and provide mentorship to junior data scientists.
• Promote best practices in experimentation, measurement, and growth analytics throughout the organization.
• Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
• Over 7 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or growth analytics, demonstrating a history of delivering impactful business results.
• At least 5 years of experience in data mining and data/statistical analysis.
• 5 years of experience with SQL and statistical software packages (Python, R, SAS) is essential.
• Minimum of 5 years experience working as a data scientist or in a similar capacity, with a proven track record in data processing, predictive modeling, and machine learning techniques.
• At least 1 year of experience in Property & Casualty insurance.
• 1 year of experience leading group projects and mentoring peers/interns.
• Proficient in SQL and Python, with experience in modern data and ML ecosystems.
• Background in growth-oriented data science (e.g., optimization of paid marketing, attribution analysis, funnel diagnostics, experimentation, user segmentation).
• Design and manage sophisticated A/B/n testing frameworks, including multi-armed bandits and causal inference models to assess impact in uncertain environments.
• Proven hands-on experience in building and deploying production ML models.
• Experience in fine-tuning Generative AI (LLMs) for specific domain applications is a bonus.
